Dave Banerjee

Welcome! I am an associate researcher at the Institute for AI Policy and Strategy, where I research AI security and extreme power concentration. Previously, I was a summer fellow at GovAI, participant in ARENA, hardware security research assistant through SPAR, and security engineer at a hedge fund. I graduated from Columbia University, where I studied computer science with a focus on cryptography, reverse engineering, and machine learning.

I am always looking to work with smart people. I am currently seeking research assistants interested in working on extreme power concentration, and I am happy to personally fund strong collaborators if there is a good fit. If this sounds like you, please reach out via email.
